Our Partnerships
Rising Waters Collective
Unbound Symphony is proud to partner with Rising Waters Collective, a Puget Sound-based chamber opera company creating bold, immersive theatrical art rooted in the stories of our region. Rising Waters Collective centers historically excluded perspectives and storytellers, brings opera into unconventional community spaces, and leads with a commitment to accessibility, collaboration, and social consciousness.
We share a deep belief that the performing arts are most powerful when they reflect the full range of human experience, challenge comfortable narratives, and open space for honest dialogue. Both organizations are committed to amplifying underrepresented voices in classical music and opera, building community through artistry, and reimagining what these art forms can look and feel like for audiences today.
Together, Unbound Symphony and Rising Waters Collective are working toward a more equitable, vibrant, and inclusive performing arts landscape in the greater Seattle area.

Unbound Symphony is proud to partner with Seattle Dance and Performing Arts Medicine (SeaPAM), a Seattle-based network of healthcare professionals dedicated to supporting the health and longevity of performing artists.
SeaPAM brings together physicians, physical therapists, and specialists who are passionate about promoting healthy performance, education, and sustainable artistic careers. Through initiatives such as educational programming, professional development opportunities, and a free clinic that helps diagnose and guide treatment for performing artists; including those who are uninsured or underinsured, SeaPAM plays a vital role in ensuring artists have access to informed, specialized care.
Their holistic, team-based approach aligns closely with Unbound Symphony’s commitment to supporting the whole musician, recognizing that artistic excellence and wellbeing are deeply interconnected.
Unbound Symphony is proud to partner with King County Sexual Assault Resource Center (KCSARC), a leading nonprofit providing advocacy, therapy, and support services to sexual assault survivors and their families throughout King County. This partnership reflects Unbound Symphony’s commitment to addressing the realities of harassment and misconduct within the classical music industry and to fostering environments where musicians feel safe, respected, and supported.
In addition to direct services, KCSARC leads prevention and education efforts in schools and communities, helping to equip individuals and organizations with the tools to recognize, address, and prevent harm. Their work plays a vital role in advancing safer, more accountable spaces for artists and communities alike.
Sexual assault is any form of unwanted or nonconsensual sexual activity, including acts involving force, coercion, or manipulation. It can happen to anyone, and it is never the survivor’s fault. Free and confidential support is available 24 hours a day through KCSARC’s Resource Line at 1.888.998.6423 (1.888.99.VOICE).
