Katherine Faubion has generously supported Unbound Symphony by creating original painted string instruments that celebrate the beauty of music through visual art. She painted a double bass that was displayed during our July 10th summer inaugural concert which featuring double bass soloist Rebecca Lawrence. Katherine also exhibited this beautifully painted bass at a prior lecture and chamber performance Unbound Symphony held at the Folio Seattle Anthenaeum. Katherine also donated a hand-painted violin as an auction item for one of our fundraising house events, helping advance our mission while inspiring audiences through her artistry. We are deeply grateful for Katherine’s support and for equally inspiring us and continually uplfiting us.
